A well-established event supply company seeks a Business Development Manager to build and define long-term key customer relationships and identify new business opportunities to improve the company's market position and achieve financial growth. You will take all incoming new leads and work with the client to convert into business as well as ensuring that the company is involved in all potential tenders of large scale outdoor events. This role will also be an ambassadorial role to become the face of the company within the sector, attending networking events, association members events and industry exhibitions.

Main duties include:

  • Plan persuasive approaches and pitches
  • Strategic planning
  • Prospect for potential new customers and turn this into increased business
  • Meet potential customers, by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network
  • Research and build relationships with new customers
  • Work with teams to develop proposals that speak to the customers' needs, concerns and objectives
  • Participate in pricing solutions
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external customer debriefs
  • Attend industry functions
