An experiential marketing and events agency based in Northamptonshire is looking for a Head of Events. This is a unique opportunity to take over leadership of an exclusive automotive events programme, overseeing a team of Project Managers and managing the relationship with their main client.

Head of Events / Client Servicing


  • To lead the delivery of a comprehensive events programme and be hands on for a small number of your own projects
  • To maintain and develop client relationships and be responsive to their needs ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded
  • Troubleshoot any issues or concerns ensuring excellent customer care
  • Sustain and develop the account by challenging and clarifying briefs in order to fully understand the client's needs
  • Development of detailed, fully-costed proposals utilising brand insight and customer knowledge in our response including presenting ideas to clients
  • Maximise business opportunities and work with senior management team to devise action plans to combat gaps in the business
  • Manage, mentor and motivate a team of project managers including helping them to develop their skills and achieve individual KPI's
  • Ensure effective co-ordination of resources (internal and external) to increase efficiencies and profitability
  • Maintain effective communication with Operations Team throughout the event planning process ensuring everyone has a full understanding of client requirements
  • Ensure all event details are communicated in a clear and concise manner and post event results are recorded and reported in a meaningful way.
  • Regular review event management processes, driving best practice, high standards and consistency across all departments

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with excellent account/client management skills with a practical background and understanding of the needs of a highly logistical business. Automotive experience would be highly beneficial, specifically candidates who may have managed a dealership programme.
Line management experience is also crucial as this person will have several direct reports.
