etc.venues powers into top spot in BDRC’s VenueVerdict League
etc.venues has topped the poll in the latest BDRC (Business Development Research Consultants) VenueVerdict league table for customer service in UK meetings venues.
Based on nearly 250 responses from event hosts in the third quarter of 2009, etc.venues registered an overall performance score of 82 per cent, with an exceptional 99 per cent of customers saying they would recommend the venues to a friend or colleague.
Alastair Stewart, managing director of the non-residential venue chain, said: "These are excellent results for etc.venues, particularly given how busy the venues have been over the last quarter. It's also a terrific endorsement of our strategy to invest in service and the above and beyond touches that are the hallmark of etc.venues."
Matt Costin, director of BDRC Hotels & Hospitality, added: “The national average for service quality rose once again this month – this time to a record high, suggesting that hotels and venue operators are increasingly recognising the importance of word-of-mouth, be that positive or negative, in the venue selection decision.”
