Italian show BTC moves again
BTC, the Italian meetings trade show, which relocated from Rome to the Palacongressi in Rimini, has moved again. It will now be held 1-2 July at the Fiera di Rimini because the new Palacongressi, expected to open in May, will not be ready until September.
“Rimini’s Palacongressi will be a state-of-the-art facility, which will therefore require absolute levels of quality. To guarantee these, it has been decided to delay its opening,” said Paolo Audino, managing director of Exmedia, the company that organises BTC.
Gabriella Ghigi, exhibition manager, added:“In terms of organisation and logistics, the new venue does not involve any change for BTC. Fiera di Rimini is a top quality facility which will provide us with all the space and services necessary to ensure BTC is a success in its new, more interactive and experiential format."
Following the decision of Società del Palazzo dei Congressi (the company responsible for the construction of Palacongressi) to postpone the opening of the new Palacongressi until September, the choice of the Fiera di Rimini expo centre as the new venue for BTC was ‘based on its standing as a cutting-edge facility perfectly suited for trade shows’.
