Antalya in Turkey has been chosen for the 2014 assembly of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA).

The congress will be headquartered at the Susesi Hotel with the next door Cornelia Diamond and the Ela Quality Hotel also used. All are five-star deluxe hotels and all are on the beach.

Sinan Inan, director of the Antalya Convention Bureau and chairman of the host committee, said: "This will be a milestone for Antalya. We are very happy because we did a good job on the bid."

The news of the decision was leaked at IMEX in Frankfurt and came as a surprise as many had expected Houston USA would be successful.
