31/05/2011

Top brands in the events industry have signed up as new charity supporters of Meetings Industry Meeting Needs (MIMN), the events industry’s own registered charity.

In the past week Grass Roots, MCI UK, Trinity Conferences, Impetus Marketing, IMEX and Chewton Glen Hotel have confirmed their status as Charity Partners, supporting the charity financially for the first time.

In addition, there have been repeat memberships from regular supporters including Creative Travel & Event Management, EIBTM (Reed Exhibitions), The Turner Agency, Wedgewood DMC Group and Universal WorldEvents.

Treasurer Charles Blowfield said: “This is a record year for Meetings Industry Meeting Needs with more than £80,000 raised for good causes in the past financial year. And now it seems we have really turned the corner with the industry’s top brands joining us. The future looks very exciting with such great support.”
