Zibrant has announced plans to organise and host a specialist forum for healthcare sector meetings and events buyers this November.
The forum - entitled Healthcare Forum 100 - will take place on 15 November at the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) and will give buyers and suppliers from across Europe the chance to discuss the challenges they face within the industry. Melia Hotels International has signed up as headline sponsor.
Zibrant says it is hosting the forum as it recognises that the healthcare sector has been quite insular, however there now seems to be an appetite to share best practice - without revealing competitive strategies - particularly in areas such as meetings policy, strategic meetings management and globalisation. The forum will feature a mix of panels, presentations and breakout sessions.
Hannah Wilkinson, Zibrant’s director of business development – healthcare said: “Never before has this proposed group of people been brought together to share the challenges that they face in meetings management – it’s very exciting. I’ve worked in the industry for over 10 years now and I’ve never felt more passionate about what we do and how we can change meetings in this sector to better serve the needs of our clients and their fellow corporates.
"We’ve orchestrated the forum to include experts in all fields including our competitor agencies and non-Zibrant clients to ensure a representative discussion.”
The forum is by invitation only. Those that are interested in attending should email HealthcareMeetingsForum100@zibrant.com
