The Concerto Group awarded catering contract for US Olympians

Events, catering and hospitality specialists The Concerto Group has been awarded the catering contract for the US Olympic Committee’s High Performance Training Centre at the University of East London (UEL) for the 2012 Olympic Games.

 

Concerto will provide meals to US Olympians when they are training at the centre as well as training partners and support personnel for the duration of the games.

 

Guy Rodger, director of The Concerto Group said: “We are honoured and privileged to have been awarded this contract and look forward to providing some of the greatest athletes in the world and the USA support personnel with nutritious and delicious food.  It is a huge responsibility, but one we are thrilled to shoulder.

 

The Concerto Group has secured a number of contracts for the 2012 Olympic Games but this is the only one that involves catering for sportsmen and women rather than spectators.”
