drpgroup promises not to ignore regular clients during Olympics

04/08/2011

The drpgroup is working with five key Olympic and Paralympic sponsors to deliver Olympic-related events, but is promising it will be “business as usual” for regular clients.

Dale Parmenter, drpgroup managing director said that next year the group will aim to help clients celebrate the Games, but continue to provide support for those looking to maintain their business through 2012.

He said: “The drpgroup is approaching the challenge of 2012 with the advantage of our in-house resources on our side, from kit to facilities, technicians to venue finding, we can provide a full events and communications service to clients in 2012 without hunting around for that last piece of kit available or that last freelance technician who’s not booked.”

The drpgroup’s free venue finding service, thevenuepot.com has already shown that booking venues and hotel space within the M25 during the Games period is becoming an increasingly difficult task and the team will look to find the best alternatives outside the M25 and secure last-minute deals in the City where needed.

The drpvideo team is also offering its Covent Garden-based editing studio to clients who need editing time and facilities in the capital during next summer’s events and the team development brand, futureteams, has begun delivering a series of Olympic-related team development games and days out.
