More leading event industry brands have joined the growing group of big names financially supporting event industry charity Meetings Industry Meeting Needs (MIMN).
George P. Johnson, Twickenham Experience, Bespoke Hotels, IHG and Richmond Caterers are the latest to become official Charity Supporters in recent weeks to bolster MIMN’s fund-raising and spread the charity’s influence.
MIMN – a registered charity – was set up to enable the event industry to raise funds and distribute to good causes most often lacking government support or the wherewithal for major fund-raising. Often these good causes are connected to those working in the events industry and in the past year more than £80,000 worth of projects have been funded in the UK and overseas. The charity is operated entirely with volunteer staff and has funded more than £250,000 of contributions to good causes.
