Eventia attendees to learn 'how to network in the real world'

17/08/2011

Eventia’s Summer Networking event will focus on how to network in the real world – as well as allowing ample networking time for attendees.

The event, to be held at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists on Thursday 1 September, will
kick-off with a bitesize seminar on 'Networking in the Real World' presented by Andy Lopata, managing director of UK Network Business Referral Exchange.

Delegates will gain an insight into how building their profile online will help them become sought out at networking events, and how attending events can also help build their online presence.

Lopata, former vice-president of the Professional Speaking Association, has worked with clients including the BBC, Merrill Lynch and Mastercard to help them realise their full networking potential.

The Next Big Thing Competition, which aims to find
the hottest new act in corporate entertainment will launch with a performance from last year’s winner, swing singer Mickey Fordola. Followed by a series of heats, the final will be held at International Confex, 6-8 March 2012, at ExCeL London.

Eventia Members receive one free place to the event, for any additional places there is a charge of £30+VAT.
