International Confex will launch a dedicated PA Day when it
moves to London ExCeL next March.
It is expanding its PA focused education to support the UK’s estimated
600,000 executive assistants who are involved with organising events.
Taking place on 8 March, PA Day is set to provide a free,
tailored seminar programme led by Susie Barron-Stubley, managing director of Castalia
Coaching & Training. Seminars include ‘relationship management at executive
level’, ‘effective decision making in a fast paced business environment’ and ‘resolving
conflict in the workplace’.
Announcing the initiative on the UK’s
first ever National PA Day (15 September) Jonny Sullens, portfolio director for
International Confex, said: “With experience training PAs around the world from
Beijing to Bangkok
and Sydney to Shanghai, Castalia Coaching & Training is
the perfect partner to deliver PA Day at International Confex 2012. With such a
demanding role, PA Day is here to take the stress away from PA’s who organise
any kind of event.”
Susie Barron-Stubley added: “We work with many of the
world’s leading organisations at the highest of levels to train PAs to become
fully integrated and effective members of the management team. We are extremely
proud to support International Confex and look forward to helping equip
visiting PA’s with the skills they need to fulfil their careers.”
