Event organisers shown the changing face of Hong Kong

22/09/2011

Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) hosted two exclusive dinners for event organisers with an acclaimed Chinese chef as part of ‘Hong Kong · Live in London!’ last week.

Event planners from agencies including Banks Sadler, First Protocol and George P Johnson enjoyed a special menu cooked for them by Tsang Chiu King, executive chef of two Michelin starred restaurant, Ming Court at Langham Place, Mongkok, Hong Kong.

The events took place in the private dining room at Mews of Mayfair in London during the two-week Hong Kong Live in London consumer-facing promotion, which involved an open-air carnival staged on South Molton Street.

Guests were shown a presentation on Lantau Island - which offers various attractions including Hong Kong Disneyland - and had the opportunity to meet HKTB partners from Virgin Atlantic, Regal Hotels and Shangri-La Hotels, among others.

They were also treated to a traditional Chinese ‘face changing’ performance, which is one of the added-value options HKTB offers for large events through its ‘Hong Kong Rewards’ privilege programme.
