Business travel buyers are being invited to put themselves
forward to speak as part of the Business Travel Show’s 2012 conference
programme.
The education programme includes 26 keynotes, panel debates,
case studies and masterclasses and industry professionals are asked to put
themselves forward as potential speakers, moderators or panellists for any of
the sessions listed online at www.businesstravelshow.com.
Event director David Chapple said: “It is a fantastic
opportunity for buyers, who are so used to taking a back seat in the world of
business travel, to share their knowledge and experiences for the good of the
industry.”
Sessions at the show, which runs from 7-8 February at Earls Court in London, include ‘How to negotiate with airline alliances’, ‘Where
is the cost of travel going in 2012?’, ‘Tackling ground transportation’ and ‘Risk-managing
your meetings programme’.
“We’re very excited about this year’s conference programme,”
added Chapple. “It’s fast-paced, relevant and thought-provoking. But above all,
it’s practical and wide-reaching, which means that all buyers – whether newbies
or veterans – will take information back to the office that can be instantly
translated to helping them buy business travel even better.”
Buyers interested in getting involved should email
conference@businesstravelshow.com. Nominations close on Monday 7 November 2011.
