drpgroup’s venue sourcing arm, thevenuepot, is working with Lime Venue Portfolio to source venues for clients outside of London during the busy Olympic year.

The company says that with a lack of London venues on offer for businesses looking to hold events next year, it will work with Lime Venue Portfolio to find the venues and offer savings on those outside of the M25 - bookings made through thevenuepot before the end of March 2012 for events being held before 30 June 2012 will save 15 per cent off the cost of the booking.

Lime Venue Portfolio’s locations outside of London include Cardiff City Football Club, Edinburgh Zoo and Epsom Downs Racecourse.

Emma Kennard, manager of the thevenuepot, said: “We place a large amount of events in Lime Venue Portfolio’s distinctive venues each year so we’ve been able to offer this deal to our clients because of our buying power.

"We’ve seen London-based venue availability rapidly disappear in this key time prior to the Olympics so it’s fantastic to be able to offer alternatives which are not only highly memorable for delegates, but will save clients money.”
