18/11/2011

Meeting Professionals International’s (MPI) annual European Meetings & Events Conference will take place in Budapest, Hungary next year.

The event, running from 29 – 31 January at the Novotel Budapest Congress, offers a research-based programme based around three main themes: educate, exchange and experience.
Over the three-day conference, 28 concurrent sessions from 22 European speakers will explore special interest areas, professional development and MPI Thought Leadership Initiatives, including corporate social responsibility and the future of meetings.

There will be inspirational presentations from respected speakers from the region, as well as chapter sessions that reflect the needs specific to the European region. Meanwhile, Solution Room, will be a collaborative space to gain ideas and insight from peers.

Sebastien Tondeur, MPI chairman said: “Innovation is key to social progress, economic development and, therefore, growth and job creation. As a global community, we are constantly connected digitally and socially, for learning and for business. In Budapest, we have an ideal opportunity to empower our network and turn it into actionable business opportunities. When people meet, we change the world.”
