CWT Meetings & Events is the first agency to show its
support for Britain for
Events, the annual marketing campaign that promotes the UK events industry.
Jane Baker, CWT’s business development manager, UK & Ireland said that the agency’s
support is a “reflection of the growth and importance of the meetings and
events sector”.

who use meetings and events to motivate, educate and connect with their
customers, partners and people. Live experiences provide organisations with a
powerful and measurable marketing tool.”
CWT Meetings & Events doubled its UK turnover during 2010, and is on
target to see year-on-year growth in 2011 of 44 per cent, taking predicted
turnover to £27m and up to £48m turnover by the end of 2013. The team at CWT
has grown by 40 per cent to more than 55 members this year.

The Britain
for Events campaign will run until March 2012 concluding with its focal week at
International Confex, 6-8 March.
