First Protocol gives thanks to suppliers as it sets sights on Singapore in 2012

28/11/2011

Event marketing agency First Protocol gave thanks to more than 100 suppliers with its second annual Thanksgiving event. Suppliers and partners from across the industry met for champagne and canapés in the agency’s London office to celebrate the company’s 15th anniversary year.

Managing director UK Mark Riches told guests: “Thank you for support and partnership during the last year. It’s been a busy year: we’ve opened an office in LA, increased gross profit and acquired creative business COH Associates.

“In the last year 20 people have joined FP in London and many more in the US and we won three new managed services contracts in the UK. Next year we continue our investment plan and will open an office in Singapore, hopefully by the first quarter.”

Thanksgiving supplier awards were presented as follows:

Exceptional Service: Iain Robertson on behalf of Four Seasons George V
Unsung Hero: Simon Reid on behalf of Royle Corporate Print
CSR Award: Valerie Vayssiere-Hugill on behalf of Shangri-La Hotels
Most Consistent Supplier: Jane Wilde on behalf of I-Mage
15 Year Partner: Terry Shaw on behalf of Alison Price & Company

CEO Richard Waddington, who flew to Singapore this week to build the new team, added: “This is the time to take market share. As we grow, thanks again to you all for your support.”
