Pacific World expands its offering into Europe and India

01/12/2011

Asia-based Pacific World is expanding into a global DMC, event management and PCO company.

Already covering eight countries in the Asia-Pacific region, Pacific World - which is part of TUI Travel PLC - will now incorporate the operations of Ultramar (Spain), TravelScotWorld, (Scotland), TUI Hellas Corporate Services (Greece), Miltours (Portugal) and ICE and Mintcentives (India) under one brand and a single management team. The addition of the new businesses under one umbrella will expand the presence of Pacific World to 13 countries and over 30 destinations.

Manuel Ferrer, regional director South East Asia, Pacific World, said: “This dedicated brand for the global meetings industry brings together all of our current businesses in this sector under one dynamic and individual operating brand called Pacific World. The values of this enlarged Pacific World are ‘Connected, Inspirational and Empowering’. We are changing the look and feel of the Pacific World brand to reflect these values as well as to underpin the regional expansion and the investment into the event management and PCO business.

“Our vision is to further expand the footprint of Pacific World by building a global presence over time and to attract the best talent in the industry. With our network of operations and more than 200 staff around the world, we see Pacific World as the specialised and personalised MICE provider for our clients.”
