Event industry meets under the 'Mistletoe' for second year

06/12/2011

Event industry professionals met under the ‘Mistletoe’ for the second year in a row last night (Monday) as part of a joint Christmas party for members from Meetings Professionals International (MPI), International Special Events Society (ISES UK) and Site.

Around 250 members from the three organisations attended the party at the impressive Christ Church Spitalfields in London for a night of entertainment and networking, following last year’s successful event at the Old Vic Tunnels.

This year’s Mistletoe event also raised £560 for event industry charity Meetings Industry Meeting Needs (MIMN).

Entertainment came in the form of the cross-dressing Globe Girls and their comical songs, singer Sandra Marvin and band Wandering Hands. There were even Christmas carols as the night went on.

The London Kitchen provided the food and Clink Clink served up the drinks, while Nitrogen canapés added some fun to the dining experience.
