Urban Fabric Events gains momentum in Manchester

08/12/2011

New travel and events company Urban Fabric Events has said that seeing its clientele grow has spurred on its plans to become a leading destination management company (DMC) in Manchester within the next 12 months.

As well as planning events overseas, Urban Fabric Events is now working in partnership with the Lowry Theatre, The Museum of Science and Industry, the Imperial War Museum, Media City and Lancashire Cricket Club in a bid to give clients a feel for Manchester’s history.

Urban Fabric Events was set up earlier this year by John Harding, who has previously worked for FCm Travel Solutions, the Travel Management Group and Advanced Travel Partners; and Marc Hazelden, who has also worked for Advanced Travel Partners, FCm Travel Solutions and Expotel.

Harding said: “It’s great to be experiencing new success in our growing business. From our base in the centre of Manchester, we can offer our clients a memorable experience by optimising the fabric and contemporary culture of vibrant event venues and destinations throughout the world.”

Hazelden added: “Having had a busy few months providing sales incentive programmes to our clients in destinations including Rome, France and Malta, we are very optimistic and excited about Urban Fabric Events. With some great recent client wins and exciting strategic partnerships things are looking very positive.”
