Site expands education programme across Reed’s IBTM portfolio

08/12/2011

Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) has expanded its strategic partnership with the Society of Incentive and Travel Executives (Site) to develop new education programmes across its shows in Spain, China and America.

Under the expanded agreement, Site will serve as a group co-ordinator for RTE’s newest exhibition, AIBTM, which will take place in Baltimore in June 2012 and provide education for up to 100 hosted buyers.

Meanwhile, at EIBTM in Barcelona next December a Site Young Leaders education seminar will be staged. Further Young Leaders activity is planned for AIBTM, where Site intends to take advantage of the show’s proximity to Washington DC to expand the participants’ views on advocacy for their profession.

In 2012, Site is also co-locating its annual conference with CIBTM in Beijing, which will take place from 12-14 September. The conference will welcome around 500 delegates from 40 plus countries.

Craig Moyes, group exhibitions director, RTE said: “Hosting top level executives personally selected by Site for AIBTM as well as the other expanded programs will, we believe, deliver tangible business opportunities to our exhibitors.”
