Sue O'Gorman has been appointed Honorary Secretary of events industry charity Meetings Industry Meeting Needs.

O'Gorman is co-founder of Davies Tanner, specialist public relations agency for both business and consumer tourism. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has a BSc (Hons) in Marketing Management. O'Gorman works with a number of high profile brands by supporting their sales and marketing initiatives, strategic brand development and creative design.

MIMN chairman Martn Lewis said: "We are delighted to have Sue join our team of volunteers. She has an extraordinary knowledge of our industry and the people in it and she will bring invaluable experience to the charity."

O'Gorman replaces Gillian Luis Ravelo who stepped down as secretary earlier this year.
