Eventia welcomes six new members from across the industry

27/12/2011

Event agencies PowWow Events, Incentivise, and Top Banana Communication are among the new members to industry trade association Eventia. Ipswich Borough Council has joined as a member in the Corporate, Association and Public Sector, while Warwick Conferences and Clipper Events have joined as Partners.

Paul Hussey, BSI Meetings & Events’ director of business development and co-chair of the Eventia Membership Committee, said: “It is encouraging, in these challenging times, that agencies and suppliers recognise that it is more important than ever that the industry should have a voice.”

Rob Allen, CEO of TRO and Eventia chair, added: “It is always great when new members join Eventia but even more so at this time of year and from so many different sectors of the industry.”

Meanwhile, registration is now open for Eventia’s annual conference, The Summer Eventia, which is being held at Kings Place in London 23-24 April 2012. Content topics will include the future economic forecast; the integration and influence of creative industries in our market, technology tricks of the trade and social media advances.
