IET Venues has repeated last year’s double success and
scooped the No.1 UK Brand Award for Small Groups and the Gold Standard
Brand Award in the 2011 BDRC Continental VenueVerdict Awards.
This year saw BDRC Continental split
the No. 1 UK Brand Award into three categories, allowing it to recognise
the varying operational challenges faced by small, medium and large groups, with
etc.venues netting the award for mid-sized, and QHotels winning the large-sized
category.
The VenueVerdict Awards - independently operated by market
research specialist BDRC Continental - were determined by nearly 24,000
customer feedback surveys across 350 UK conference venues and
hotels.
As well as providing awards for venue groups, VenueVerdict
also awards the BDRC Gold Standard Venue Award to individual properties that have continued to provide
exceptional customer service throughout the year.
Based on 12-months of customer feedback, eighteen venues across the country achieved scores in excess of 70 per cent and were awarded the Gold
Standard. Two IET venues made the grade, though the IET London: Savoy
Place, which last year attained a +90 per cent
score, failed to make the list.
