Donaldson quits Grass Roots after seven years

12/01/2012

Grass Roots Group's global development director Debbie Donaldson has left the company, quoting differences in opinion on strategy with the top of the management chain as the major reason for her departure.

She is the third high profile departure from the business in recent months, following the resignations of Nick Bender and Amanda Litzow.

Donaldson’s role included global client development and management and development of international offices such as New York, France and Switzerland. She had been with the company for seven years and spent the past 15 years in the event agency sector following her time with Axis Sales & Marketing.

Donaldson is leaving the events industry altogether and looking forward to a change of scenery, having secured a sales role in a new media business. She said: “I’ve had a fantastic time and met great people and learned a lot but I am looking forward to a new challenge.”

Grass Roots operates in 15 countries throughout the world.
