Grass Roots makes three senior staff redundant

Amanda Stranack, Paul Nicholls and Karen Brock have all lost their jobs
19/01/2012

Grass Roots Group has made three senior staff redundant. Recently promoted director of event management Amanda Stranack, client services director Paul Nicholls and group operations manager Karen Brock have all lost their jobs, bringing the number of senior executives to leave the company in recent months to seven.

They follow the departure of global development director Debbie Donaldson, who left last week to join creative digital design and marketing agency, Big:group. Director of sales and client relationships Simon Maier left the company in November and events and communications divisional director Amanda Litzow stepped down in October. Global head of events Nick Bender announced he would be leaving to start his own venture last summer.

Grass Roots declined to comment on the redundancies, but at the time of Litzow’s resignation, chairman David Evans revealed he had been personally interviewing all staff within the Marlow-based events and communications division to put together a new team.
