New Balance Olympic win for Definitive Events and Altitude 360

25/01/2012

Sports footwear company New Balance is set to take over Altitude 360 – the private events space at the top of the Millbank Tower – for the whole of this year’s Olympic Games.

The venue has been secured for the company’s corporate entertaining via Manchester-based event management company Definitive Events, which will be managing New Balance’s entire programme for the Games. Definitive Events has a long standing relationship with New Balance and managed its programmes at the Beijing 2008 and Athens 2004 Olympic Games.

Kevin Tripp, senior manager, Integrated Channel Marketing at New Balance, said: “New Balance and Definitive Events had very specific requirements when it came to organising a venue for our corporate entertaining during the 2012 Olympics. Altitude London, with its fabulous views and elegant and distinctive offering, ticked all the boxes and more.”

Peter Kerwood, Altitude London’s marketing director: “We are delighted to welcome New Balance to Altitude 360 in 2012. We are certain that they will have a most successful Olympic Games!”
