The drpgroup swept the board at this year’s IVCA Livecom
awards, picking up eight prizes.
The group picked up three outright wins and five highly
commended nods for events organised in 2011 at the ceremony held at the Brewery
in London. Its ‘Chiltern
Railways Customer Focus Challenge’ took the top spot in the ‘UK Seminars and
Conferences’ category, while its work on the ‘Wolves Hall of Fame 2011’ for
Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club championed in the ‘Heritage’ category.
The third win was picked up in the ‘Award for Inspiration and Motivation’
category with ‘Our Conference 2011’ for Sainsbury’s, which was a joint win with
Brand Fire for its ‘Euro RSCG, One Young World’ event.
‘Back to School for Lloyds Retail HR and Communication
Colleagues’, ‘Thomas Cook’s 2Gether Conference 2011’ and ‘Sainsbury’s Our
Conference’ received multiple ‘highly commended’ accolades.
Dale Parmenter, group managing director, said: “It’s a great
reflection on the whole team’s hard work throughout last year. A huge range of
projects picked up prizes and what pleases me the most is, with the emphasis of
these awards placed squarely on tangible results delivered, each of our award
winning and highly commended entries delivered above and beyond our client’s
expectations.”
Other events picking up prizes included Grass Roots’ ‘Big
Bang UK Young Scientist and Engineers Fair 2011’ in the ‘Learning Experience’
category and CTN Communications’ ‘Financial Times Global Commercial Conference
2011’ in the ‘International – Internal Experience’ and ‘UK – Internal
Experience’ categories. ‘One Young World’ was also named the winner of the
‘International Seminars and Conferences’ category.
