Calgary Stampede themes Eventia's winter networking event

09/02/2012

Trade association Eventia has teamed up with the Canadian Tourism Commission and Travel Alberta for its next winter networking event later this month. Celebrating 100 years of the Calgary Stampede, the event will take place at the Worx in Chelsea on 23 February.

As well as the networking opportunities, there will also be a session entitled ‘App Attack’ which will be led by Peter Donnelly of Active Network Events and it will focus on using apps in the events sector, what you can do with them, how they can make your business stand out, what to consider when thinking about creating one and future trends and innovations.

Tracy Johnson, Eventia marketing services director, said: “We are delighted to be working with our annual marketing partners the Canadian Tourism Commission and Travel Alberta to bring our members a very different networking event to mark the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede. This will be a fun event with great networking and a very ‘apt’ educational opportunity.”
