Landowners invited to pitch their property to event planners at IOEX

10/02/2012

Landowners who would like to use their estates for events will have the chance to meet with planners and agencies looking for new space at a ‘speed-networking’ event.

Taking place on 7 March at the International Outdoor Event Expo (IOEX) at ExCeL London (which runs alongside International Confex), the initiative will involve quick fire meetings lasting no longer than five minutes.

Mark Gordon, sales director for IOEX said: “An event of this nature has never been seen before in an exhibition feature area and will provide a great opportunity to bring people together, allowing landowners and top agencies a wealth of connections to find what they are looking for. Anyone can get involved and I think it’s a great way to meet agencies and to introduce never used before event spaces.”

The speed-networking event will begin in the Networking Bar after Lord Shaftsbury’s seminar ‘Turning Your Estate into an Events Space’. He is currently turning his inherited land into an events space, with his journey also being documented by Channel 4.
