Capita on the right tracks issuing a million corporate rail tickets

17/02/2012

Capita Business Travel has said that it has become the first travel management company (TMC) to issue a million corporate rail tickets in a year, using Evolvi Rail Systems.

Evolvi provides its rail ticket issuing system to eight out of the top 10 TMCs, and Capita believes that the company’s rail expertise has generated the scale and growth in the corporate rail market. Alongside the rail and account management teams, in-house enhancements to the rail booking tool have been differentiating the agency in a competitive market.

Raj Sachdave, head of rail product at Capita Business Travel, said: “The milestone confirms that our rail proposition has never been stronger. We predict further growth in our rail business in 2012 as our team continues to deliver value for customers’ necessary travel spend.”
