Apprentice finalist makes waves with her new speaker bureau

21/02/2012

Miriam Staley, a finalist from the first series of The Apprentice, has launched a speaker bureau.

The bureau, MakeWaves, has already been appointed as a preferred supplier for Leeds-based communications and experiential events agency, Logistik Group.

Dirk Mischendahl, MD, Logistik, said: “MakeWaves works for Logistik because of the bespoke service that Miriam offers. The recommended speakers work with clients to deliver the key messages businesses want to engage their audience with”.

Staley added: “At its most basic, MakeWaves places inspirational, compelling keynote speakers into conferences, events and leadership development forums. Our aim, however, is always to go a lot deeper than that, and by taking time to understand your longer-term desired results, we will propose not just a speaker for your event, but additional services which will help you reach your objectives, faster.”

Since appearing on The Apprentice, Staley has held a range of roles including head of sponsorship and hospitality and head of partnership with the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games for Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets.
