Inside Track
has
organised one of Ford
Motor Company’s largest ever UK
staff recognition events, with more than 12,000 employees and their families.
The event was held to celebrate 100 years of
operations in Great Britain
and took place at Ford’s Technical Design Centre at Dunton, Essex - the UK’s
largest automotive research and development facility.
Cambridgeshire-based automotive marketing
and event specialist, Inside Track, split the site into three zones, each
focusing on a different theme, including supercar rides, a stunt display by
world-renowned Paul Swift and a showcase of Ford’s latest technology.
Activities were scheduled throughout the
day, with entertainment provided by the Motown Girls and a Michael Bublé
tribute act, culminating in a show-stopping finale by soul diva Beverley
Knight.
For car buffs, the highlight of the day was
the centenary cavalcade featuring 100 Ford cars - one for each year of
manufacture - which toured the track.
“We were very proud to support such a
special date in the history of Ford in Britain,” said Vicki Gentle of
Inside Track. “Our team of 20 staff really pulled out all the stops to make it
a day to remember, not to mention a safe and fun experience for all the
guests.”
Inside Track is part of DHL Supply Chain and
has been project managing events for Ford for more than 20 years. It also works
with Volkswagen, Honda, Volvo Car UK and Peugeot Motor Company.
