Event buyers enter the Twilight zone at the London Dungeon

29/02/2012

The London Dungeon showcased its suitability as an event space with buyers from across the industry taken on a hair-raising tour and treated to a 'Twilight Supper' by the Merlin Events team.

More than 90 guests, including representatives from Banks Sadler, Norton Rose, Barbon Insurance and Chillisauce, were led through London’s darkest history on the Scare Tour, which culminated in the hair-raising Extremis Drop Ride to Doom.

As part of Merlin Events' ongoing interactive campaign to engage organisers through social media and allow them to shape the events they go to, guests were given the opportunity to vote for who they’d rather attend the dinner; vampire Edward or werewolf Jacob from the Twilight Saga film series. Edward won the vote and guests were joined by a lookalike for the two-course dinner, which included beef wellington carved by chefs in black robes.
