Royal Garden Hotel launches exclusive meetings product

08/03/2012

The Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington has launched a new exclusive-use offering to organisers at this year's Confex, following demand from high-end clients using the meetings and event facilities.

Adam Faries, conference and banqueting sales manager, said the hotel has seen a number of finance and pharma companies looking to use its Palace Suites area on an exclusive basis, and bringing in bigger numbers.

The Palace Suites - which already comprises a conference room for up to 550 delegates theatre-style - will now offer the additional benefits of four breakout rooms and pre-function space for exhibitions or drinks receptions. The Palace Suites area was used for the first time on an exclusive basis with preferred partner Worldhotels for its 2012 Annual Hotel Conference in January.

Faries said: "It really is good for clients bringing in the bigger numbers - catering for 550 people, plus the extra space. We are already getting some good enquiries for 2013, too.

"The strategy during the hotel's big refurbishment (which was completed in late 2010) and the economic downturn was to offer guests value, now we are pushing the exclusive use."
