TFI uses its head to win Festival of Neuroscience


The TFI Group has won a contract to organise the British Neuroscience Association’s (BNA) Festival of Neuroscience, which is expected to attract 2,500 delegates.

Simon Maier, TFI Group's director of business development, said the agency pitched against ‘tough competition’ for the biennial event, which will be staged at the Barbican, London over four days in April 2013.

The event will see the BNA partnering with more than 15 other societies with a neuroscience interest to create a festival to celebrate and promote the subject. BNA2013 will combine 50 symposia, ten plenary and public lectures, a trade exhibition and a full public engagement programme.

“TFI Group is delighted to have been selected to work with the BNA and its partners to help create this unique and exciting science festival,” said Maier. “Bringing together so many different societies into one festival is a terrific way to help boost the awareness of neuroscience and to engage professionals and the public alike.
