Imagination nets Ford hospitality deal for UEFA Champions League Final

13/04/2012

Global communications agency Imagination has been charged with organising Ford’s hospitality programme for more than 1,000 guests attending the UEFA Champions League Final in Munich next month.

The London-based agency will organise flights, ground transfers, accommodation and activities for Ford and its clients. Ford will also celebrate its 20th consecutive season as a sponsor of the league. The final takes place on 19 May.

Imagination is also responsible for delivering Ford’s consumer-facing experience at the UEFA Champions Festival fan park at
Munich’s Olympic Park. This year, the agency has developed the Ford B-MAX Challenge, in partnership with Sony Hawk-Eye, a high-tech penalty shoot out which tests the participants’ power and precision.

Imagination s
enior account manager Natalie Eldridge, said: “Every year, we are faced with the challenge of creating a truly unique and engaging event, combining Ford’s technology messaging with the premium UEFA Champions League experience. This year, working with Sony Hawk Eye has allowed us to take it to the next level. It’s a very exciting project to be working on, one where Ford, technology and football are at the heart of the whole experience. Visitors to the Ford experience will not be disappointed.”
