ISES heads to Birmingham for its second regional event

16/05/2012

The second of the International Special Events Society’s ISESTalks regional networking events is to be held at the NEC Birmingham on 29 May. The initiative, which aims to bring together and inspire event-industry professionals, will include a guest speaker delivering a mini-masterclass on how social media can benefit the events industry.

Louise Hankinson, conference account manager at the NEC, commented: “Having recently become ISES members, we’re delighted to be hosting this event for them. We play host to more than 400 live events a year, from small meetings  through to large scale events and product launches for the likes of Toyota, Severn Trent, Sainsburys, BSKYB, Neal’s Yard and Range Rover Evoque.”

Jonathan Byrne, COO of the Royal Aeronautical Society and current president of ISES, added: “We are also delighted to welcome the NEC to the ISES and look forward to connecting them with our wider membership to network, share best practice and be inspired by the rich creativity that exists in our membership.”

The ISESTalks event is free to attend and takes part in the NEC’s Piazza Suite 4. To attend, email
