Organisers of the Americas Meetings & Events Exhibition (AIBTM) have announced that 54 new exhibitors will be taking to the show floor in Baltimore next month.

Around 33 per cent of booked exhibitors are new to the show, which will take place at the Baltimore Convention Center from 19-21 June. These include Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Dolce Hotels & Resorts, India Tourism, Istanbul Visitors and Convention Bureau and Visit Scotland.

Graeme Barnett, event director, Reed Travel Exhibitions,
said: “As we get closer to AIBTM 2012 in June, we’re absolutely delighted with the demand we have had from both new and returning exhibitors from all over the world. We are excited for the new opportunities these exhibitors offer to our 2012 attendees.”

Dr Alfredo Quinones-Hinojosa, a former illegal immigrant who jumped the border fence from Mexico into the US 20 years ago and is now director of the Brain Tumour Surgery Program at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Centre, has been named as the motivational keynote speaker at the
event.
