McDonald’s, Microsoft, Nike and Cisco are lined up to attend the first Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Global Corporate Summit taking place in Glasgow in July.
Senior meeting planners and executives from corporate companies will attend the four-day conference at the Scottish Exhibition + Conference Centre (SECC), which is expected to attract buyers with a total estimated meetings and event spend of more than $1bn (£634m).
Taking place from 22-24 July and held in partnership with the SECC and VistScotland, the Summit will bring together buyers from across the world to discuss the challenges executives experience when staging international events.
“It is exceptionally rare to have this wealth of experience and expertise in the same room and we’re delighted to have such a senior and knowledgeable group in Glasgow for the very first summit,” said Sherrif Karamat, chief operating officer, PCMA.
“Glasgow has a reputation and heritage for learning and knowledge, and we are confident that the outputs of this conference will make its own mark on the global meetings and events landscape.”
