Philip Atkins, managing director of Off to Work, will take up the role of president
of the UK Chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES) when the
new board starts its duties on 1 July. Atkins will replace Bonnie May of Global
Infusion Group, who stepped down due to work commitments. May will continue to
contribute to the association in her new role as director at large.
Jane Hague, head of corporate account development at ExCeL London, was
nominated president elect and will succeed Atkins at the end of his tenure.
Another former president, Zanine Adams, was appointed chair of the
association’s advisory board.
Atkins said: “I see it as my duty to carry on the good work of past presidents.
This includes the continued geographical diversification of ISES memberships
and events and creating a greater feel of inclusiveness to all UK
