Representatives from ITV, Zibrant and Confex are set to speak at the launch of the 2012/13 Britain for Events campaign this Wednesday (4 July).

Held at IET: Savoy Place, Michael Hirst, chair of the Business Visits & Events Partnership (BVEP), will brief delegates on the campaign’s activity for the year, before presentations from Fay Sharpe, managing director, Zibrant; Katie Rezniak, head of events & hospitality, ITV; Jonny Sullens, group director, International Confex and Tim Hamer, IET director of knowledge.

More than 100 guests are set to attend the event, including representatives from government bodies the Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) and UK Sport and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI).

“Britain for Events is more ambitious than ever and we’re looking to continue our mission to encourage business to use events to spread awareness, share knowledge and create memorable experiences; and to do so in Britain,” said Hirst.
