Paul Nicholls joins drpgroup as business development director

06/07/2012

The drpgroup has appointed former Grass Roots client services director Paul Nicholls as business development director, heading up the sales and marketing team.

Nicholls spent 11 years with Grass Roots and has been working in the industry for more than 23 years. During his time at his former agency, Nicholls oversaw the acquisition and development of a number of high-profile accounts and his knowledge of the client management, sales and development process will help bolster the drpgroup’s credentials in this area.

The drpgroup has expanded its sales and marketing team in recent months, with Christina Meredith joining as sales assistant and Matthew Hayward taking a business development role.

Managing director Dale Parmenter said: “Paul is an extremely knowledgeable individual who will be a vital addition to our team. We have a fantastic group of professionals in place who are using our PR and marketing strands to generate great new client relationships and Paul will come in at the top of this process.”

Nicholls added: “I am hugely excited to be joining the drpgroup and looking forward to the opportunity to speak with existing and potential clients about the amazing capability that exists here.”
