The Birmingham NEC has announced that it has been chosen to host a new three-day show, the UK Pool & Spa Expo, in January 2013.

Organised by New Events Ltd, the UK Pool & Spa Expo will be open to both trade (January 24-26) and the general public (January 26) and will feature the latest industry innovations in pools, spas, water heating/cooling equipment, filter, cover, lighting and safety equipment, as well as a variety of suppliers and distributors of related services and accessories. Organisers expect more than 4,000 to attend and claim that the majority of booths and spaces have already been filled.

The demand for a national show, according to The NEC, stems from the UK being Europe's fourth largest market for pools and spas.

The fact that the show will debut at The NEC, opening to both trade and consumer visitors, demonstrates our ability to host events that appeal to multiple audiences and showcases our appeal as the venue of choice for smaller, launch events as well as larger, established shows.”
