Eventia calls open forum to discuss proposed IVCA merger

20/07/2012

Eventia is inviting members to an open forum to discuss its proposed merger with the International Visual Communications Association (IVCA).

Eventia announced the possibility of a merger at its AGM earlier this month, following two years of discussions over creating a more collaborative, cohesive voice for the industry. Memberships of both trade associations are now in consultation over the proposal, which would see the formation of a new trade association encompassing meetings, experiential events, travel and incentives, film, video and interactive media.

Eventia members should have received a consultation document, or it can be downloaded below. Eventia is initially seeking responses via feedback@eventia.org.uk, with further opportunity at the open forum to talk to Eventia board members and discuss the potential merger plans and voice your opinions.

The event will take place at Tuesday 14 August 2012, 4.30pm-6.00pm, Park Plaza Victoria, London. To register, please email
