Exhibition to probe 'risk free' events for charities and associations

01/08/2012

Conference House has launched its online registration and seminar programme for its new exhibition, nfp events, which will target the charity and association events sector.

The show – which takes place at the Business Design Centre on 25 September – will feature seminars such as ‘Risk Free Challenge Events’, led by Simon Albert from Charity Challenge, and ‘Technologies Affecting Attendee Behaviour’, with David Preston from Event Network.

Online registration company amiando and audio-visual firm Smart AV have been confirmed as sponsors of the show, which aims to attract around 400 visitors in its first year. Delegates will also benefit from the opportunity to attend sister event nfp technology, which will run concurrently on the same day.

Exhibition director Michael Webb said: “As other funding streams slow down events are becoming more important to charities and associations since they help to plug income and maintain donor and member relationships.

“But not for profit events are highly competitive and managing them efficiently can be a real challenge. nfp events is a chance for events professionals to stay on top of trends in the sector, get the best deals from suppliers and explore all that's new and innovative in their industry.”
