24/08/2012

For the second year running, Chelsea Football Club will host Oktoberfest, celebrating Germany and its famous beer festival, in its 1,400 sqm Great Hall, with event and branding possibilities part of the brew.

The traditional Bavarian festival, held at the venue on 4 October, will include a variety of German beers, a gourmet German feast and entertainment from band, Oompah Brass.

Simon Hunter, Chelsea’s head of venue, said: “Following on from the success of Oktoberfest 2011, the 2012 event it set to be another great opportunity for us to showcase the Great Hall for large scale events and banquets. This event is perfect for both leisure and business guests, and we look forward to turning Stamford Bridge into Little Germany for the second year running.”
