ATP signs deal with Dutch Olympic Committee until 2020

30/08/2012

ATP Event Experts has signed a deal with the Dutch National Olympic Committee (DNOC) to continue to organise its corporate travel and events business until 2020 following a success at this year’s Olympics.

The eight-year agreement will cover the next four Olympic and Paralympic Games in which ATP will continue its role of arranging the travel of the Dutch National Olympic team and helping to operate the official DNOC centre, Holland House.

ATP has been responsible for the organisation of Olympic tickets to the Dutch market and corporate hospitality packages since 1997.

Gerard Dielessen, director of the DNOC, said: “The Orange wave that swept over each and every event venue at the London 2012 Olympic Games and kept Holland House packed to the rafters night after night is proof of just how important sport is to the Dutch people. We want our enthusiastic sports fans to continue to enjoy the Olympics for years to come and with ATP Event Experts as our official ticket and travel agent, we’re confident that they will be able to provide the same exceptional level of service and support that we’ve come to enjoy these past 15 years.”

Parent company ATPI’s chief operating officer for Europe and USA, Peter Muller, added: “We have built a strong working relationship with the DNOC over the past 15 years, and we’re proud that our hard work, strong organisation and corporate hospitality expertise has led to the decision to renew our contract for a further eight years. The management and organisation of the travel and corporate hospitality requirements behind large scale sporting events is a key business area for us, and it could not be in better hands. We look forward to continuing working with the DNOC for many years to come.”
