Organisers gather for Marriott’s Global Pursuits showcase

19/09/2012

More than 750 visitors attended Global Pursuits, London’s showcase of Marriott properties that took place at Grosvenor House yesterday (Tuesday).

The event, celebrating its 15th year, saw organisers from the UK, Europe, Brazil, Turkey and the Middle East meet with representatives from around 300 Marriott properties.

New hotels on the show floor at the Park Lane hotel included the Renaissance Cairo Hotel, The London EDITION and The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna. Marriott brands The Autograph Collection and AC Hotels by Marriott were also making an appearance for the first time.

Trudi Wagner, senior event manager, international global meeting planning services for Marriott, said: “It was great. We ran a competition for someone to win a fabulous three-night trip to Dubai that included flights, and we had a great cocktail reception last night where the event turned from a serious business atmosphere to more of a party.”
